3:35 PM; Cafe musings
I'm sitting at the Starbucks at the basement of Paragon at the moment, having a frap and doing up my SOAP case of viral warts.

There is something strangely therapeutic about this, with the whirring of the coffee machines, the blasting of That CD shop across the cafe, with the conversation of other tables swirling around me. There is something about sitting here alone that helps to recover something about my shattered self.

Not that there's any major upheavals in my life, but this is probably a good way as any to relax before school and incessant mugging descends upon me. With the disappearance of Maju mall, I need a nice quiet cafe during weekends to hang about that will serve me some caffeine, allow me to get some work done and ease some of my frazzled nerves, which will no doubt come to pass once the new semester starts.

Oh, and there was that matter too.

These moods seem to come whenever I'm just thinking in random directions in my life. When watching the TV alone, during the moments when you're lying in bed but not yet asleep. I think I'm a fool, and rightly so. Why is it so hard?

Oh well if I knew this post would probably not be here.

It was forgetfulness, I think, just plain apathy. You don't remember what you don't care about.

6:48 PM; Materialism
I think that recently all my buying excesses was a way to work off my stress and frustration at work.

Now that work's over, I've calculated I've lost about 3kg in 6 weeks. Doesn't seem like a lot, but then when you're my kind of height and my kind of weight that could be quite a lot.

On the other hand, the weight loss has seemed to give me more stamina. I think running with and without 3kg around your belly can really give you more speed.

So yes I'm literally buying all my stresses away. Before the next hell of a semester starts once again. I can go back to being thrifty Sue and something then.

Considering my pittance of an allowance (which I have come to terms with, but that doesn't mean I have to be happy about that. God knows I have enough of people lecturing me about gaining in immaterial terms.), I'm spending way over budget, but then honestly I can't be bothered any more. It seems to be reflexive that the less I earn, the more I spend on myself. Lunch usually costs more than my day's pay anyway. Haha!!

So yes I'm going to continue to spend money, especially so when I'm taking driving lessons right now. Hopefully I can clear it a little faster and that way I can try to curb my excesses.
